Shipping policy
Effective Date: 01 April 2026
This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed with VB Wholesale (UK) Ltd T/A VB Wholefoods for delivery within the United Kingdom.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Delivery
We aim to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible.
Orders placed before 1:00 PM (Monday to Friday) are usually dispatched the same business day, subject to stock availability, payment verification and courier collection.
Orders placed after 1:00 PM or during the weekend will be processed on the next business day.
All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delivery is carried out by third-party couriers including Royal Mail, DPD, DHL, Parcelforce and other approved carriers.
We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, severe weather, industrial action, public holidays or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Delivery Charges
Next Business Day Delivery (Estimated)
- £4.99 for orders under £60
- FREE for orders of £60 or more
Northern Ireland: £9.99 delivery charge.
Tracking & Proof of Delivery
Tracking details will be provided where available after dispatch.
For delivery investigations and payment disputes, we may rely on:
- Courier tracking records
- GPS delivery data
- Delivery scans
- Proof of delivery
- Delivery photographs
- Signature confirmation (where applicable)
If you choose to have your parcel left in a safe place or with a neighbour, you accept the associated risks once the courier confirms delivery.
Delivery Address
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
If an incorrect or incomplete address is supplied, we cannot accept responsibility for failed or incorrect deliveries.
Where a parcel is returned because of:
- an incorrect address;
- an incomplete address;
- refusal of delivery; or
- failure to collect,
we may either:
- re-dispatch the parcel at the customer’s expense; or
- issue a refund less:
- the original delivery charge;
- a £9.99 return handling fee for each parcel returned; and
- any additional courier charges incurred.
We cannot guarantee address changes once an order has been dispatched.
Missing, Damaged or Incorrect Orders
Please notify us:
- Within 14 days of dispatch if your parcel has not been received.
- Within 48 hours of delivery if your order is damaged, incomplete or incorrect.
Please retain all original packaging and provide photographs where requested.
Claims reported outside these timeframes may not be accepted.
Delivery Investigations
Where a delivery issue is reported, we will investigate using the available courier and order records.
Delivery investigations may take up to 14 days to complete.
Any replacement or refund will only be considered after the investigation has concluded.
Chargebacks & Fraud Prevention
If you experience a problem with your order, please contact us before raising a chargeback.
Where a chargeback is initiated, we reserve the right to defend the transaction using all available evidence, including:
- Order records
- Payment information
- Billing and delivery details
- IP address (where available)
- Courier tracking
- GPS delivery data
- Proof of delivery
- Delivery photographs
- Customer correspondence
To avoid duplicate reimbursement, we reserve the right to withhold any refund while a courier investigation or payment dispute is ongoing.
Where fraudulent or abusive activity is reasonably suspected, we reserve the right to refuse future orders, suspend customer accounts and recover any reasonable costs permitted by law.
Liability
Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Except where required by law, our liability for loss, delay or damage is limited to the value of the goods purchased.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
